Overview:

IBTCI is seeking a Senior Contracts Associate to provide administration support for various contracts, subcontracts, etc.  This position is based in our headquarters in Vienna, VA, with some time spent in our Washington, DC office.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:  

  • Assist Contract Manager with subcontract documentation such as drafting subcontracts, agreements, modification tasks/delivery orders, solicitations, estimates, cost/price analyses, negotiation memorandums, justifications, determinations, special contract provisions, representations, certifications and correspondence.
  • Administer T&M, Labor Hour, Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable/Award Fee type subcontracts consistent with government-client requirements in accordance with company, FAR/DFAR procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in processing purchase requisitions and compile appropriate documentation to establish subcontract files.
  • Develop and maintain contract and procurement files.
  • Prepare and review teaming and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Review and manage CPARS.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Maintain logs for tracking contract actions; maintain electronic files and hard copy files in accordance with company methodologies.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working in an integrated team environment; able to operate independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter and well organized.                                                         

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous U.S. government contract administration work experience required. USAID experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet with technical staff to elicit their requirements to develop related acquisition documents.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel required.
  • Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are essential to this position.

 Education:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Business Administration or related field.

 

Working Environment:  Work is typically performed in an office environment.

 

Physical Requirements:  This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:  This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

Travel:  International travel may be required.

 

Work Authorization:  Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
