IBTCI seeks an Evaluation Coordinator to provide suppor to the USAID/Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) Azm-e-Pakistan Program (AeP) Evaluation. The puprose of the evaluation is to provide USAID/OTI with an evaluation team to conduct an evaluation and identify key lessons learned of the OTI Pakistan AeP program, and is expected to assess AeP’s progress towards its stated objectives, as it relates to lessons learned regarding countering violent extremism (CVE), and convey to USAID/OTI an independent evaluation.1for the upcoming support logistics for the evaluation team in-country, including ensuring adherence to security protocols. The project period of performance for will be on or around January 1, 2018 and will end August 31, 2018. The evaluation is expected to be conducted in both Pakistan and the United States.  This position is contingent upon award.


Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate in-country travel, lodging, and transportation;
  • Serve as a liaison with the Government of Pakistan for all bureaucratic issues, including issuance of visas, etc.;
  • Ensure implementation of and adherence to IBTCI’s security protocols, in close collaboration with IBTCI’s home office; and
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including facilitation of small procurements and managing relationships with local vendors.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working in in Pakistan;
  • Understanding of local security issues in Pakistan; experience in security or risk mitigation preferred;

Minimum Requirements:


  • At least 5 years of experience providing logistical support to projects or organizations;
  • Oral and written fluency in English and Urdu and/or Punjabi required.


Education: BA in International Relations, Foreign Affairs, Sociology, or related field preferred, but not required.


Supervisory Responsibility:  This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


Travel:  Travel not required.
