Job Title:                                                   Human Resources Associate

Reports To:                                                HR & Operations Director and/or Manager

Overview:

IBTCI is currently seeking a Human Resources Associate.  We are looking for someone who is assertive, works with a sense of urgency and possesses a strong work ethic.  Flexibility is key as this position may help support any of the human resources function. This position is located in Vienna, VA and starts immediately.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:  

  • Send out course information to participants.
  • Track and maintain employees’ performance management and training records.
  • Schedule training sessions.
  • Help training manager/trainer to create training support materials.
  • Prepare performance management and training reports.
  • Distribute and collect feedback forms.
  • Ensure every employee receives a training certificate of completion.
  • Conduct HR research as needed.
  • Manage electronic and hard copy records.
  • Coordinate staff meetings including lunch coordination, meeting facilitation, etc.
  • Office management duties including office supply ordering, etc.
  • Facilities management duties.
  • Special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Records management experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical and strong in online research.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience.
  • Oral and written fluency in English required.  Fluency in another language, particularly French or Arabic desired.

 

Education:  Associate’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

 

Working Environment:  Work is typically performed in an office environment.

 

Physical Requirements:  This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:  This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

Travel:  International travel may be required.

 

Work Authorization:  Must be authorized to work in the USA.
