IBTCI seeks an expert and Program Manager (PM) in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) based in Kenya, with strong data analytic and leadership skills for a large Food for Peace project in Kenya.
The M&E Lead in Kenya will provide technical expertise and leadership to generate and analyze quality evidence and data through monitoring, assessments, and evaluations. The M&E Lead will play a central role in ensuring the learning from the initial Research and Collaboration Phase of the project onward. The M&E Lead will design, manage, and provide strategic direction to the Kenya food aid (DFSA’s) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems, ensuring cross-learning in MEAL among Kenya-based projects, as well as collaborating on learning across partner.
This position is contingent upon award.
IBTCI is recruiting a senior, experienced monitoring and evaluation (M&E) officer to lead the overall consortium’s M&E activities in Kenya. The estimated timeframe is October 1, 2019 – September 30, 2024. The activity will be implemented in two phases:

Working Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment; however, candidate must be able to travel on field missions for 30-50% level of effort as needed.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Travel: This position may require travel to Northern and Southern Kenya.
