IBTCI is currently seeking several Junior-Level Program Analysts/Administrative Assistants to provide support to USAID’s Bureau for Latin America and Caribbean (LAC). This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC. This contract will provide the Bureau with critical administrative, operations and technical expertise and services and establish efficient and compliant policies and procedures that will allow it to support bureau and officer operations and programming as needed.


Essential Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate one or more administrative services of an office, such as records and information management, mail distribution, facilities planning and maintenance, custodial operations, and other office support services.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have secret clearance.
  • At least one year of administrative experience providing strategic communications, outreach, and reporting for U.S. government agencies and their reports to the U.S. Congress, OIG, and other stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize effectively
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience working with U.S. government agencies; knowledge of the U.S. Agency for International Development
  • Spoken and written Spanish
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail


Education:  A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, journalism, English, international development, international relations, or a related field.


Working Environment:  Work is typically performed in an office environment based in Washington, DC. It will begin with remote work until COVID-19 restrictions change.


Physical Requirements:  This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility:  This position will be embedded in USAID/Washington LAC and will not have supervisory responsibilities.


Travel: International travel may be required and could include travel to fragile or conflict-prone zones.


Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
