Assignment Title: Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Specialist
Department/Location: Crisis, Conlfict, and Governance Practice; Erbil, Iraq / Remote
Technical Point of Contact: Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP)
Overview:IBTCI is seeking a Data Quality Assessment (DQA) Specialist to support the Iraq Monitoring and Evaluation Project, which provides third-party monitoring (TPM) services for Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance of USAID (BHA) The purpose of the DQA is report on the validity, integrity, precision, reliability and timeliness of selected indicators for USAID Implementing Partners (IPs). DQA findings will help USAID flag any data quality issues and limitations, and provide practical recommendations on data quality issues to IPs in the short term. The DQA Specialist will assess the adequacy and integrity with which IPs are documenting and managing their data collection and storage processes.

Serve in the above consultant capacity to support the IBTCI Crisis, Conflict & Governance technical practice.
This position does not authorize/require the consultant to directly communicate with IBTCI clients.
This position does not authorize/require the consultant to have decision making authority on final work product.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in international development, management, research , social science, or other related field.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs. This position requires the incumbent to be mobile and agile at a moment’s notice in case of an emergency.
Travel: International travel to Erbil, Iraq may be required, but the assignment may also take place remotely.
